Background of the Study
The integration of e-learning resources into academic libraries has emerged as a pivotal strategy to support remote learning and self-paced study. At Federal University Kashere, e-learning platforms provide access to digital textbooks, research articles, video lectures, and interactive modules that complement traditional learning methods (Ibrahim, 2023). This integration aims to enhance the overall user experience (UX) by offering diversified resources that cater to varied learning styles. The use of user-friendly interfaces and seamless access protocols is central to this initiative, aiming to reduce barriers to information retrieval and foster academic success (Uche, 2024). However, integrating these resources within an existing digital library framework presents challenges such as system interoperability, content relevance, and the need for continuous updates to resource management practices. As the reliance on e-learning grows, assessing the UX becomes critical to ensuring that learners can navigate and utilize these digital resources effectively. This study examines the interplay between e-learning resource integration and UX, evaluating both technical performance and user satisfaction to provide actionable recommendations for further improvements (Chukwu, 2025).

Statement of the Problem
Although Federal University Kashere has made commendable strides in integrating e-learning resources into its library system, users report inconsistencies in accessibility and navigation. Students experience difficulties when transitioning between various resource platforms due to fragmented interfaces and outdated integration protocols (Ibrahim, 2023). These issues lead to delays in information retrieval and affect the overall learning experience. Inadequate user training and limited technical support further compound these problems, making it challenging for users to maximize the benefits of digital resources. This study seeks to identify the key obstacles affecting UX within the context of e-learning resource integration and to assess their impact on academic performance (Uche, 2024).

Objectives of the Study:

To evaluate the user experience of integrated e-learning resources.

To identify technical challenges in resource integration.

To propose improvements to enhance UX and resource accessibility.

Research Questions:

How effectively are e-learning resources integrated within the library system?

What challenges hinder seamless user navigation?

How can the integration process be improved for better user experience?

Significance of the Study
This study is significant as it addresses the critical role of integrated e-learning resources in enhancing academic support and overall user satisfaction. The findings will provide insights for library managers and IT professionals to optimize system interoperability and content delivery, thereby improving access to digital learning materials. Improved integration and enhanced UX are expected to foster better academic performance and greater resource utilization (Chukwu, 2025).

Scope and Limitations of the Study:
The study is limited to evaluating e-learning resource integration at Federal University Kashere and does not extend to other digital platforms or external content sources.

Definitions of Terms:

E-learning Resources: Digital materials and interactive modules used for academic instruction.

User Experience (UX): The overall ease and satisfaction associated with using a digital system.

System Interoperability: The ability of different systems to work together seamlessly.
